On Tuesday 4 March 2014, Indra Sistemas S.A. of Spain and the National Aerospace Laboratory of the Netherlands (NLR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The two aerospace organisations decided to join forces and align their R&D activities to supply innovative and competitive products and services to the global market. Indra delivers state-of-the-art fully integrated training systems and solutions to airlines and ATC centres, while NLR provides an integrated suite of simulation solutions for research and development purposes for the innovation of aviation.
The collaboration will bring the best of both worlds together by sharing expertise and facilities for Simulation & Training, Air Traffic Management (ATM), Remotely Piloted Vehicles, and Flight Testing.
