Any authority intending to oversee an EBT programme (including Mixed-EBT) must know how to differentiate between effective EBT and ineffective EBT. As these training programmes show their merit by performance data, it is important that inspectors understand what they are looking at, and if they can conclude whether an EBT programme is performing well enough.
This workshop addresses two key objectives:
1. Participants understand what metrics are valid, how the analytics should be structured, assess data quality and data privacy
2. Participants collaborate with NLR experts to determine appropriate limits and acceptance criteria ( e.g. for training effectiveness, ICAP, individual and group pilot performance)
These two objectives empower inspectors to quickly and effectively ascertain if an operator is presenting useful and valid metrics, and if the performance indicated is sufficient (e.g. for Baseline EBT transition).
This workshop is primarily geared toward authorities that must connect (state) air safety standards to EBT performance indicators, and set national EBT standards accordingly. The workshop may also include operators, facilitating a shared understanding of what is needed, and stimulating a growth mentality instead of a compliance-oriented mentality.
